FAQ

Q: How does the card work and how do I use it?

A: Once you enroll at QualityHealth.com, you can print a copy of your card. This printed copy can be used immediately at participating pharmacies.

Just bring your card to the pharmacy along with your prescription (or your next refill for an existing prescription). Give your card and your prescription to your pharmacist to receive a discount on most medications.

If you do not have a printer, don't worry. There are instructions for using the card without a printer.

Q: What are the benefits of the card?

A: The QualityHealth Prescription Savings Card lets you purchase prescriptions at discounted prices at thousands of pharmacies nationwide. The card is free, and is just one of many benefits of becoming a member of QualityHealth.

Q: How much will I save?

A: If you are uninsured, you will save about 15% on brand-name medications and up to 80% on generic-brand medications. If you have insurance and there is an active copay program available for your medication, your savings will differ based on the various programs available.

If you have insurance, you should bring both your insurance and QualityHealth Prescription Savings Card to your pharmacist and ask which provides the better discount. This program will not add discounts to discounts you are already receiving from your current provider.

Q: Are the prices the same at each pharmacy?

A: No. Drug prices differ by store and location. The best thing to do is ask your pharmacist for the discount amount and the total price before you fill a prescription. Also, some pharmacy prices for some medicines are already aggressively discounted. If their price is lower than the discount provided by your QualityHealh Prescription Savings Card, there will be no additional discount.

Q: Can other members in my family use my card?

A: Yes. You and your family members should use the same card. This way, you can track your savings/points for your family. Individual program restrictions will automatically be administered based on each family member.

Q: Can I use the card in conjunction with my existing insurance?

A: In many cases, yes. If you have insurance, give your QualityHealth Prescription Savings Card to your pharmacist along with your prescription and your insurance card. The pharmacist will submit a claim to your insurance company, and then to QualityHealth's partners at OPUS Health to find out what portion of your copay will remain after using both cards.

The QualityHealth Prescription Savings Card is not valid for commercially insured patients in Massachusetts, and not valid for patients covered under Medicaid, Medicare, TRICARE or similar state or federal programs.

Q: I have a co-pay card offer for (medication). Can I combine this program with the other co-pay discount?

A: Unfortunately, no. This program cannot add discounts to discounts you are already receiving from your current provider.

Q: What happens if I lose my card?

A: Just log into the QualityHealth website and print a replacement card. Or call 1-888-288-8919 if you require further assistance.
